Yes, bu the devil is in the width of the band, which needs to be addressed, because the wider the band, the tighter it will feel.
There is the Mordent ring blank calculator, but I am unable to get it to work. http://mordent.com/toolsapps/ Dennis.

Only offering a quick view chart, , sorry it it isn't what was needed. For widths, always go up ONE size if the band is 10mm wide and up TWO sizes if over that. It has worked well for me thus far.
