    You can also print the image onto PnP, using a laser printer, and transfer it onto silver sheet as a resist for etching. Dennis.

    i’ve created this sort of thing at home quite easily although the process is quite long.

    this is how I go about it.

    I laserprint my design onto either photo gloss paper or greaseproof paper then heat transfer this onto a copper disk as a resist for etching with salty water and 6V electricity.

    with a bit of trial and error my etchings have come out very sharp and quite deep, perfect to use as a pattern for a delft clay casting into coin sized pendants using silver or bronze.

    when etching i use a fish tank bubbler to agitate the water this seems to help with a very even finish.

    when casting coin shaped pieces I always use a mould in the vertical position. I made a short video on this casting.
