Default Yellow Gold Slider Beads With Silicone?

    Hi there

I'm trying to find a yellow gold bead with a silicone core to use as a sliding ball clasp on 9ct yellow gold bracelets. I'm wondering if anyone knows where to find these? Checked Cookson website already and none there despite there being several in sterling silver.

These are what I want to make:

I'm just looking for the gold bead that the two pieces of chain go through.

If you're wondering why I don't just buy these ones it's because I already have purchased one but it's not long enough for what I want to make so I'm going to attempt to make my own. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

    Kind regards
    Josh

I have. None of them have the silicone in. These are what I'm looking for in 9ct yellow gold:

Already checked Cookson and Rio Grande and no luck

Plastic tubing is available from local ironmongers in a variety of sizes.

I did once make a construction for a similar purpose, by soldering two bent silver tubes together to form a Y and dragging tight polythene tubes into them to provide the friction.

I suspect that a short, slightly oversized piece of plastic tube, bevelled at one end, could be forced into a two hole bead, possibly softened in hot water first.

As with all new projects experiments are needed. Dennis.
