Tomorrow I'm off on holiday so this morning once I was all packed and the children were out with friends I did a quick job with some copper I'd watched about three years ago and then didn't know what to do with. It's a bit thin but it'll do (until I have a go with the thicker copper sheet I have). And whilst looking for beads to use with it I discovered that the small labradorite beads I have need the thinnest of wire so I made a quick three strand bracelet.
Once the kids were home and fed I decided to have a go at reticulating some silver sheet. I shaped it before heating and added the hole because I thought it might be interesting. It's not. I really don't like it but for a first attempt I'm quite pleased with myself.
Once I get home from our week away I've only got two weeks left before I start work again but I'm hoping I can keep up the mojo/momentum as I've really enjoyed playing around at home.
Critiques and suggestions welcomed.
