Ive had this one for about 3 years now and very happy with it

I make a lot of thick rings (5mm by 2.5mm and 6mm by 3mm in silver and gold) and it works brilliantly.
I rarely use the ring bender though as that does tend to mark too much, I use a mandrel and nylon hammer instead.

Yes, I'm sure that's the one, if your budget allows. It will stretch using the upright mandrel and reduce using the series of holes at the bottom

To use it as a bender place some leather on the bed underneath. This will make sure that the outside of a ring (the part that shows) does not mark at all, even if it has precious textures.

The inside will get some shiny marks but they are simple to remove with a rotary polishing tool. Dennis.

Cool. I used mandrel as well, but leave a mark in the ring and hard to get off. I might save a wee bit more.

It looks like extremely good value, particularly as VAT is included. It works better with instructions, so if you are puzzled just ask.

You could also add one of these to complete the set: https://www.hswalsh.com/product/ring...ng-plier-tp191

I know of a pro jeweller who has one of those Chinese stretcher /reducer's, and says it is as good as the expensive version which she also has
