Rings
So, I like large organic looking pieces and started on a large ring yesterday but needed the postman to deliver some 1.5mm wire yesterday so that I could add it. It didn't arrive so instead I decided to make a couple of smaller rings to go with a small one I made in class a couple of months ago.
Here they are on my slightly swollen finger after all of the putting on and taking off started to take its toll!
The one at the top activities of my finger is the one I made but didn't add the thickness of the wire to (doh!). My daughter now has a hammered pinky ring.
The round labradorite ring is the one I made in class. Yesterday I made the kyanite one and the one that was textured using an old chisel and a nail (and it's meant to look a bit primitive). Unfortunately all three rings don't sit well together because I don't have enough finger space for them.
Today the wire arrived and I was able to finish this and I am very pleased with how it turned out.
On my hand they look pretty good I think.
