LAS account registration query

Hi all
I am taking part in my local Open Studios again this year, and need to think about making stock of jewellery to sell alongside my beads. I registered with the London Assay Office today after much deliberation, and wondered if anyone could advice as to how long it usually takes for an Account Number to be sent through?

I need to work out if it's realistic to hallmark and sell anything this year, or just stick to different stuff given the timeframe.

You were right, they are incredibly helpful!

I asked the question during the evening just in case anyone knew. As it happens the lady who deals with Registration is on holiday, but they have given me my number over the telephone.
