Quick query! Gold ring with a silver detail

Please help, can't remember the answer - am making a gold ring, the customer insisted on a silver accent. Does this mean it has to be hallmarkex as gold with part mark silver, or am I right in thinking they will mark it as silver with part mark gold? Argh! Thanks! Lyd

Just rang them - it has to be marked as silver with gold part mark - pity as silver is the weeniest thing on there!
