I will kick it off then! I made this for my fabulous sister-in-law's 50th which was the last week in May.
It's formed from 2mm silver wire, with much filing and careful twisting into place before soldering. It has been oxidised before being scrubbed back with a matte finish. I set a 2mm diamond in 18ct gold, and milled 0.8mm 18ct wire to as thin as I dared to give it a 'ribbon' look, this was the last piece to be put on, with some very careful threading through! The ribbon was soldered at the back at each end, to leave it non rigid. The gold was polished up for contrast. The pendant is approximately 20mm high, and I hung it on a box chain which I gave the same oxidised-then-scrubbed finish. She loved it, and I was really happy with how it turned out!

Glad the theme is broadly open to interpretation. I would like to include my penannular brooches. I'm celebrating their completion today, but also friendship as I was asked by a friend with Viking blood in her to make her the brooch for her shawls. Not sure I would have attempted it otherwise. Thanks for the advice on this forum given months ago on how to go about it.

I'm celebrating my accomplishment on a new chainmaille weave for a tassel necklace I made for my partners Mom that she wanted made for her holiday. So I made a tassel necklace and bracelet with a seaside theme in hand anodised titanium and casilica beads.

Thanks Elinor, I tried it all oxidised at first, but preferred it once it had been scrubbed back

    Default Double celebration

I am celebrating completion of 2 bangles made to celebrate a relative's 15th birthday. The first is made from 3mm round silver wire. I enlarged the hole in a 1 hole 8mm silver bead and soldered one on each end.(thanks to Dennis and Wallace for soldering tips) I sawed the 'T' from .5mm sheet and sweat soldered it onto a silver cushion and attached it with a jump ring.
The second was made using 2.5mm round wire. First I measured and cut some silver tube, drilled through from the side and prepared the ends with to take a 4mm cz. This was threaded onto the wire and the wire soldered. After shaping I gave it a hammered texture and polished. Finally I added the stones.
    Hope you like them.
