Default Tool modification tips from MJSA

Particularly given some people have been asking about hammer handpieces, there's some suggestions here on modifying automatic centre punches to stand-in for the job -

Whether it's a good idea or not I'm less sure - but if it works, it works.
I'll stick with my micromotor handpiece though... My Starrett centre punch is for steel.

Interesting Peter and reads like Charles Lewton-Brain's cheap thrills.

I have tried the other idea of using a Dremel engraver, where you only have to release a grub screw and reverse the tip.
That works quite well, but control of the amplitude is not very refined. Dennis.
