Default Setting cost for small diamonds

    Hello,

I know that stone setting costs will vary wildly but I am looking for a rough idea of how much I could expect to pay to have 7 small, 0.06ct (~2.5mm) diamonds set in an existing setting (half eternity, prong setting). I am based on Glasgow and would like to stay local if possible but can post if needed.

I am not capable of setting them myself, multiple silver practise attempts have proved that, but have no idea of what costs are involved.

Any advice would be much appreciated

    Ruth

Why not get it straight from the horses mouth Ruth.
For instance, googling precious stone setters near Glasgow brings up several. These say they work for the trade too.

Possibly someone would give you a concrete price once they see the job in the flesh.
Sounds easier to re-set an existing job but that isn't always the case.
You'll be looking at somewhere between 15 & 40 I would imagine...depends on how it goes.
