    Default Barreling machine

    Recommendation please for a barreling machine, I am using the blue one in cookson but pain in the buttom coz of the lid. I change it couple of times but i had enough. Lol

    Buy yourself a Lortone, they last a lifetime with very little maintenance

    I think that we may be at cross purposes here. If the machine is running well and the complaint is with the plastic barrel, then you need only change to a barrel of the same dimensions.

    I take it that you are having difficulty with the lid, and I agree they are a complete pain to put on and off. The simplest remedy is to change to a rubber barrel with internal ridges, or one where the lid comes with a venting system

    Alternatively you can make a venting modification to what you have, by adding two rubber washers and a bolt to the lid. This will enable you to vent the chamber to allow easier closure and again when opening. Dennis.
