Hello everyone, lovely entries so far! I'd like to enter my little frog on a leaf pendant. When I hear spring I think of new plants and creatures springing to life. This pendant is part of my continuing 'adventures' in Lost Wax Casting. I used pink sheet wax for the leaf and constructed the frog with a combination of different waxes, then had it cast in Sterling Silver.
(I had a hard time finding plants left in my garden for pictures, we brought home an 8 week old Cocker Spaniel puppy who seems to have made all the plants disappear!)
I noticed after I took the picture on the large leaf there was a bug hole on it, but I guess that's all part of spring...so I kept it Wasn't sure which photo to use so just posted them all.
The pendant is about 40mm in length and looks much more delicate in person than on the pictures!

ID:	10077I thought that I would enter with one of my experimental pieces. This is an attempt to recreate the rosemary blooming in my garden using enamels mixed in with Fimo and enamelled silver. The quartz hearts for love and healing and the rosemary for remembrance with flowers bringing new beginnings of spring. Then I realised that I have never tried to post a photo on here from my phone.... Hope it works!

We loved the shaping of the earrings and polished finish, and thought they had been well photographed to fit in with the Spring theme.

Please email competitions@cooksongold.com with your contact details and Cooksongold account number so we can arrange for your prize to be sorted.

    Congratulations again!

    Jen

Congrats Snorkmaiden! Your flowers remind me of Lilly of the Valley which are my favourite flower.

(Back to the drawing board for me - already planning an Easter design!)

Yay! Thanks everyone. This has really cheered me up after enforced (by my mother in law) bedrest today. I love lily of the valley flowers and might try those next.
Sorry there were so many photos - I struggled with the upload technology.
