This is so neat! Going to have a go at making something similar I think, as mine are just all in plastic bags in a tin.

I use those nice big drink straws from a famous burger place!! Fold the bottom over and tape around it then add a little flag to the top with the size on. Perfect!

A side question to this one, what do other jewellers keep their blades in? I would like to keep mine in some slim plastic tubes but am having problems finding such item.

Empty biro - take the pen bit out and you have a slim tube the right length x

Some time ago when I was a newbie, I remember seeing a video showing how to remove saw blades from their bundle very neatly and cleverly. I'm not even sure I owned a saw at that time so it didn't really register with me at the time. Since I have now learned to saw, I have tried to find that video again but with no luck. Does anyone remember seeing it or know what I'm talking about?

Default How to open a bundle of saw blades.

No, but we might as well all chip in to say how we do it:

I cut the brass wire by drawing a craft knife down the length of the bundle. Dennis.
