Afternoon all,

Just completed this small key pendant, made from Sterling silver. I'm trying to make items more regularly in-between shifts so I can put them into stock for when I 'eventually' get around to completing my new website. Its a New Year's resolution for 2017 so it will happen soon.. or at least thats why I'm telling myself.

As with all my stuff, I like to keep things relatively plain and simple.

The handle part of the key was made from round wire, the shaft was roughly cast as an ingot before being refined on the lathe, and also having the grooves put in. The toothed part was also cast, then filed to square and had a simple groove filed into it. The jump-ring at the top is a simple jump-ring made from round wire, flattened, then textured in order to give it a sparkly appearance.

The stone is a very subtle blue Topaz, in a simple tube-setting. Because the colour of the stone is so subtle, it was really quite tricky to photograph but a hint of colour has come through non-the-less. Thanks everyone, critique welcomed as always.
