    Default What glue?

    Morning all,

Can anyone give me an online link to a good supplier of all purpose strong glue?

I'm after bottles of glue that have the consistency of water but which sets really quickly.

Buying from DIY places is very hit and miss, plus I have trouble finding the runny stuff. I'm using it for stone inlay on rings so its important that its the watery variety.

    Cheers,

    Nick

I use Loctite super glues, this one is a good general purpose; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Loctite-Liq...ite+super+glue

There are a lot to choose from; http://www.loctite.co.uk/instant-bonding-9594.htm

I've got a Gorilla version Peter and its super strong, but its the consistency thats not ideal. Its a very sticky gel when mixed and therefore doesnt tend to permeate how I'd like.

Loctite make various types of super glue to suit all purposes, some are runny for tight contacts and some are thicker for less tight fitting and filling in areas.
    check out this one;http://www.loctite.co.uk/loctite-408...=8802625323009

The low viscosity glues are the ones that are close to water consistancy.

We use a gel superglue. You get the set but the gel consistency means it is easy to use and doesn't go everywhere. Look for one with a release liquid. Miraculous stuff. Apply and the glue un-sets.
