Default A Valentine's day gift for someone you "moon over"

It is said if you give your lover a moonstone necklace when the moon is full you will always have passion with each other. It is also said that you should practice letter stamping on copper before doing it on sterling silver. I clearly did not do this! The recipient assures me it adds to the handmade look!

I agree with the recipient, it adds to the charm of the pendant - really sweet.

    Hi everyone,

14th February is almost upon us! If you haven't submitted your Valentine's Day themed design yet, don't worry as you still have a couple of weeks left to enter.

    Best of luck!

I agree too, the writing looks good that way

Despite my banning myself from the competitions, here's something I made (admittedly in a bit of a hurry) on the 13th.
No, I didn't *forget* to get a card as such...

Around 25mm across, 11g, fabricated, formed with the help of a lead block. I might do a few more of these, albeit smaller and with a few tweaks to workflow.

    Lovely Peter!

Following on with the 'love formed with the help of a lead block' theme (!), these are sterling and lab ruby dangly heart earrings which catch the light when worn - and reflections of everything when photo'd!

I haven't posted for a while, (it's been a horrendous year) but all of these entries are beautiful in design and in sentiment and I felt moved to say so. All so different and yet so recognisable as tokens of love. It's such a special gift to be able to make something original and heartfelt for someone you care about. Good luck everyone entering.
