Sea theme pendant

I generally work on commissions without a day off over christmas but its so stressful I took less orders this year and finally had time to make something for myself.
I finished this along with a present for a friend at 3am on christmas morning LOL.
Boulder opal from Australian opal auctions along with 3 Alexandrite and a tiny champagne diamond.
I wanted it to be suggestive of a Ray hence the shape and the gold wire.
Then added a small starfish and a 'stone' cut from my horses hoof to go along with the earring I made ( I only wear one).

You know since you sent me the link I can spend hours on opal auctions! My very first purchase should come in Jan too although I'm not 100% sure what I shall make with it yet - I just loved the stone!

Alexandrite is my favorite gem so I am just a little envious you bought and kept three!
