HAHA you've no hope with me I am THE biggest hoarder!

My problem is I start something, get distracted, start something else and there's an endless stream of half finished 'things' all over the flat in varying degrees of finished-ness.

Then there's my collections and books and... well... the fact we're moving into a TWO bedroomed house pretty soon kind of says it all really as we need a whole other room for the junk

I got told this moring that my sons GF dropped him on friday but he convinced her to take him back (this was from the girls mother) This is another reason why i am not sure whether it is safe to take over his room yet lol, i still worry that he will be back. I didnt say to him that once he is gone and is in full time work etc, if he then decided that he needed to come home he would have to move into the small spare room, which wont accomodate his drum kit etc, although he did say that he thought he would try to move into a flat, but he got made redundent so he doesnt really have that option atm.

I went in there this morning and was measuring space - i have to leave all the wardrobes and drawers in there, but they will be usefull for storing stuff - especially for the card and candle decorating supplies, I worked out i could more the glass table i use for those and that holds the old desktop into that room under the window - i dont want my workbench there as it would be too bright lol.

That will leave me one wall of about 12' for my bench and all my jewellery stuff.

I am loathed to clear it cos he is lazy and i think thats what hes banking on lol

Just a thought - I picked up a 'table' from my local auction house for £5. It's a hollow vaneered thing with screw in legs but it is six foot long which just fits in my cramped small bedroom and it a lot bigger than the computer table that I used to work on.

Su, your son does sound just like mine, even down to the drum kit.

I have joined you Jo and succumb to the lovely beads. I bought the first set you see on the beads for sale page. It's all your fault Di. I bought them to make christmas presents, though, so I suppose that's not so bad.

And Su. I have just scooped myself a free desk by being in the right place at the right time. The school where my son goes were tidying up, and getting rid of an old woodwoorking desk complete with a cut-out at one end. It's quite big, and my husband is not happy about it - but I just don't care. It was too good to leave. Couldn't believe my luck. But it's all because of my motto in life - that is, if you don't ask for things, then you just don't get them. I asked, and I got it.
