What carat chain for 18ct gold pendant

Hi, I have just purchased some 18ct gold pendants but I am unsure whether to put them on 9ct or 18ct gold chains?

Which would you suggest?

I would put them on 18ct. Are they for you or to sell?

I'm with Lydia, because the carats are different in colour and 9 ct eventually tarnishes. However if you are on a budget, its no good having Rolls Royce ideas. Dennis.

Thanks for the replies, yes they are for re-sale. I just wanted to get some opinions as it seems to vary company to company what carat chain they use.
