Thanks everyone for the help and advice. I am going cut out the shape from sheet and form it over a dome to achieve a 'heavy' look without the weight of solid. Will try it in copper first tho' in case she doesn't like it. Quite frankly I am bored with it all now.
Much prefer just making something rather than to commission. The whole process just takes too long......
