I've just found this brilliant forum where i can talk to people who also love making jewellery. I have just finished studying and im in the process of setting up my own workshop at home, im finding it quite lonely as there are no longer 8 other students to share ideas and help solve problems. It's great now i have found this it was all starting to get me down as its quite hard to feel motivated and creative all alone in my house. Hope to get to know everyone as you all seem lovely. Its also nice to see im not the only one who is stumped somethimes

We all get stumped sometimes, some of us more frequently than others. The beauty of this forum is that there is always somebody who has been there before you and knows the answer - or knows where to point you to find it.

I really know what you mean about being lonely and isolated after leaving a class where you get constant feedback and motivation...I think it is the hardest part of setting up on your own! This forum has been a godsend to me - although it does have its disadvantages! It is highly addictive and a real thief of time! ....Be warned!!!
