Default Private Messages - receive email (Default On)

    Hi,

Would it be possible to have Private Messages - receive email (Default On) for all new users.

I have just replied to 2 private messages which were 4 years old.

    Thanks,

Have to admit I thought it was... I get email notification of them and AFAIR I've never changed that setting (although I did turn off the pop-up notification).

    I don't get one.
You could just try popping in and checking a bit more often lol

I always check the top of the page, if you have a private message the notifications label is boxed in blue. I have never received emails saying I have a private message on this forum.

When it's selected as an option, it doesn't always work - whether that's a sender or receiver issue I've not dug into.

That would be really handy. I always forget to look and tend to notice them days (or weeks) after they've been sent.
