Personally, I don't like the full photos at all. I find the model far too distracting and had a hard time refocussing my attention away from her hair and on to the jewellery (and what's with the strange ginger colouring on her forehead and ears?).

I showed my daughter the photos and asked her what she thought was being advertised and she said a photographer selling those packages where you pay a minimal amount for a make-over and photo shoot and then have the hard sell getting you to spend a fortune on the photographs.

We both loved the jewellery but it's lost in the full photos. Dennis' cropped version worked much much better for both of us.

On the other hand, if you're exhibiting at solely a jewellery show where the aim is to grab your audiences attention, then I think the full model photos will definitely be remembered.
