You may have noticed that pages suddenly freeze, or replies await Cookson Gold for ever.
Sometimes the message comes up 'service not available, try later'. This probably accounts for the number of duplicate posts seen in the last few days. People repeat the message, thinking it has failed, when in fact it is there already.

The forum sw is supposed to recognise if people have posted the same thing twice - and I do try to keep on top of duplicates as they muck up the signal to noise ratio. I confess I haven't actually seen much page freezing (or many duplicates) of late; had a few issues with my WAN going down at inopportune moments though. As they so frequently do.
