The pudding, Spotted Dick, has been banned from the Flintshire County Council canteen in Mold, North Wales by staff after complaints that it is 'too rude' (They should come on this forum for rude

It is now renamed 'Spotted Richard'.

Also in their sites for banning is Cherry Tart - aka 'Cherry Flan of Easy Virtue' and Cream Puff - aka 'Cream Pastry of Theatrical Persuasion' - whatever next?

Are you actually serious?! (Have to say, I am a gullible sucker sometimes, feel I am going to have trouble with you ;-P) If so, that's ridiculous, things like that make me really annoyed, like the Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep rubbish!

Maybe if you tried the description is saw on a BBC news webpage today:

"Dermatologically-challenged, non-gender specific Richard"

Wonder why it got called spotted dick in the first place?
