    Default Pretty- Ugly.

I’ve just found these Gothic style rings from years ago. I can’t believe that anyone wore them, but they were all the rage in the late nineteen nineties.
I made a few and even our high street jeweller had some.

They were good practice for all sorts of settings: rub down, claw and the dreaded bullet. I don’t do claws like this now.
Seeing them again I think they are pretty-ugly. . Dennis.

I agree - except with the "ugly" label - very pretty and very Game of Thrones!

I must be very 90s (and there was me thinking I was more 80's) because I really like them. I don't think they're GoT at all, but I am a bit of a sucker for mixed gemstones, and have a horrible weakness for bullet cabs

Me too, I especially like the second one. Are you selling them Dennis?

Well that was a surprise. Thanks for your comments folks, but why don't you make some? About the only skill is to assemble the components so that they aren't crooked really. Dennis.

I'm with everyone else, I love them, especially the first one. I don't remember this style from the '90's - which I thought was strange for a minute, then remembered I had my children in 92 and 95 so anything you couldn't be buy together with nappies, at toys R us or available at pre and primary schools then I definitely missed it!

They don't look ugly to me and I've never seen a ring like that before.

I love the second one. and wish I could do settings like that!
