Ah, Mexico... a country with an ancient tradition of precious metals and metalworking. Welcome to the forum! During the 19th and early 20th centuries, my great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents managed silver mines in Mexico. I was raised on wonderful stories of your country by my grandmother who was born in Ixmiquilpan in 1902. This is her with her beloved dog Bote - named after the Mina del Bote where he was found as a puppy by one of the miners. ¡Mi abuelita!
