Can anyone tell me what these are meant to be used for please. Are they meant for making baby bangles?

Yes they would. Strange that no-one seems to know what they're for.

I asked the question to cookies, I will let you know if I get an answer. The only thing I can think of is when you make a leather strap you may want a thing to put the end of the strap in, like a watch strap.

Maybe we should have a competition. I'm thinking of using them (or actually, I've found some rectangular silver tube, which is a better size for me) to go on the ends of expanding bangles. Not sure if it'll work yet.

I've only seen them used on Christening bangles as you say Carole.
