Default Should I keep the same color & clarity parameters on three-stone ring ?

For a three-stone ring, should I keep the same color & clarity parameters for the side diamonds? Please give suggestions on it.

There's 2 schools of thought on this: 1) Yes and 2) No.

Personally I would - but I'm the sort of person who deletes spammers without a second thought, so what do I know?

Why would you do otherwise? De-value / cheapen it?

I can't imagine if you were to go to the expense of a big, clear, pale central stone why you would stoop to smaller (muckier) ones to accompany it.
On the other hand, if you were to fit bright pale sparklies with a bigger, muckier feature stone, the phrase 'you can't polish a t*rd' might spring to mind.
