I have these a plenty in my garden and along with the daffs, the crocus and the green starting to appear, it is spring. So I thought this of bluebells would fit well for the theme.

They were made from sheet, tubing and wire. Using a dapping block for doming 5mm discs I then soldered them to a length of tube. Pierced 3/4 of the way down the tube, and then with a fine 3 square file, filed between each petal. And a fair bit of soldering to make them come together.

I kept the bells semi-closed for earrings to reduce risk of catching on long hair.

I've got serious skill envy after seeing those! Who wouldn't want to wear them?

Just off for a short sulk but am grateful for the description of how they were made

I was taking a walk with my dog when I saw the buds coming out on this tree and thought ooh that could look nice, so I picked it off and Electroformed it with recycled copper wire over a course of 10 hours. I am very pleased with the end result and would one day like to do silver and gold plating but thats a long way off yet

    Hi all,

There's only a just under 2 weeks left to submit your Spring themed entries!

Remember if you win there's a £100 shopping spree up for grabs - best of luck everyone

As entries seem to be thin on the ground this month, this is my entry. I'm stretching the theme a bit with a "spring" in the centre of the star! The open locket has a printed anodised aluminium photo set into the back.

Ah, but there's still time... Beautiful work Carole! Mine has the other kind of "spring" in it too. I'll be working on it this week.

Ah, I was tempted to put some springs in mine too!
