    Default Buy silver online

I am a loyal customer of Cookson Gold. However, at the moment there is some sterling silver rectangular wire that is out of stock, I was expecting it now but have just received an email to say it will be 11th April now!! I can't wait that long as have orders to complete.

Is there anywhere else I can buy from online this one time??

Not sure what you want the wire for but have you considered ordering 1.2mm. sheet.

I want it to make cuff bracelets... I suppose if I specified 6mm wide pieces of sheet that might work?

Yes, it will work fine and arrive straight instead of being curved from a reel.
However it will be pinched along one edge from cutting with bench shears. It could also be slightly twisted for the same reason.
It is generally not difficult to anneal and untwist and you can hide the pinch mark by keeping it on the inside of the bangle, or filing the opposite edge to match. Dennis.

I order ring width lengths and never have a problem with pinching.

Here is an off-cut of a strip cut from sheet for my frequent belt buckle projects. You will see the pinch (call it a bevel, if you like) both along one side and at the end. This is due to the pressure of the guillotine. Dennis.
