Soldering, without a doubt. There's something I find comforting in the smell of the hot metal, I'm just weird =S

Lauren, They were a lovely job to make although it took me 120 hours to mark and pierce out each pair of shades, we actually made 4 pairs of that design along with 4 pairs of other designs, all designed by Edward D.Evans.

I am not sure if you have heard of Ed.Evans, but we worked together for over 10 years and before he retired he was a well respected designer jeweller.
This is copied from an old Garrard catalogue that I have, both pages show Ed's unique jewellery.

We must have something in common Sian because soldering is my favourite thing too.

I like soldering & stone setting. Loathe finishing work (polishing/pre-polishing/sanding). I can go either way in regards to piercing depending on the day!
