    Hello Everyone,

Here at Cooksongold we are very happy as Spring has sprung along with better weather and longer nights, so it's only right that this month the theme for our forum competition is SPRING.

One winner will be chosen to win a £100 Cooksongold shopping spree - just submit your design on this thread by midnight, 30th April to enter.

    Good luck!

Looks like I will be posting the first entry this time around.

I have these a plenty in my garden and along with the daffs, the crocus and the green starting to appear, it is spring. So I thought this of bluebells would fit well for the theme.

They were made from sheet, tubing and wire. Using a dapping block for doming 5mm discs I then soldered them to a length of tube. Pierced 3/4 of the way down the tube, and then with a fine 3 square file, filed between each petal. And a fair bit of soldering to make them come together.

I kept the bells semi-closed for earrings to reduce risk of catching on long hair.

Beautiful Wallace. I especially like the way the bluebells hang down from the earring wire.

So pretty and so spring like! I've just had some bluebells pop up in my garden that I didn't even realise were there.

Gorgeous work Wallace. I love the necklace. I don't think that the earrings would catch too badly if the bells were open as and personally, if I were wearing them I'd have my hair up to show them off. You have set a high standard for this months theme (as did James last month).

Thank you Ceri. The Bell ones do catch - they have been tried, but not with hair up as that isn't the person's thing. Both types have been made though. Thanks again.
