Default Suggestions on ways to make this?

A friend has enquired about a ring in this style, all I can think of is beading up lots of silver balls and soldering them together, but I wondered if anyone else had any thoughts or suggestions?

You could do it with granulation; one of Codina's books has something similar.
But for something that simple I'd just use the beaded wire...

Beaded wire, or if you're aiming for a more handmade look with slight variations in shape and size, but still keeping them spherical, I'd make each ball individually.

Once balled, then file a very small flat on the adjoining edges to solder them together before shaping. Alternatively, make them in Argentium which balls up perfectly then fuse them together. Ive just made a bracelet in Argentium using balls and it worked out great.

A filigree knife would also create the ball effect on wire
