    About 3mm thick. I did wonder about putting some kinks into them for better grip. I think I will wait to see how it fares then modify as required.

    Love this. I got a woodturner to make me hair sticks then made fancy silver tops for them, but years ago. I guess the proof will be in the using. My daughter has very thick long hair and can keep most anything held in it

    its' beautiful, and I would use it as a shawl pin.
    I have VERY fine hair, even bobby pins slide out.

    Nice! Id love Chinese hairpins. You made it in another style but still looks beautifull.
