Nice work all round - especially love that 2nd robin!
I've almost finished my Xmas/18th birthday commission in gold, so hoping still to have time to complete my December competition entry...

Oh that's what you did ... never quite worked it out. I don't think they'd invented instructions in those days.

    Tidy work, Emily!

Thank you very much. That's something I frequently struggle with so that comment is appreciated!

(replied once but it disappeared so hopefully this doesn't show up twice)

    Really beautiful entries this month!

As I've actually made something that is both new and festive, here goes!

My mum bought me this lovely Christmas edition face powder for my birthday, and I loved the little fat stars in it so decided to make some chunky little stars inspired by them.

Wax carved some stars in three different sizes:

Had them cast and then made them into pendants, earrings and rings:

My favourites are the star stacking rings set with a moonstone on each side so they are my entry. I can't take a picture of both sizes of the rings (small star with moonstone and large plain star, and large star with moonstone and small plain star) as they're stored in the shop they were in over Christmas at the moment, but I made a set for myself with the large moonstone and small plain star.

They're stunning, Lauren - you always impress me with your wax skills!
