Default I need help to cast an earring

Can anyone help? Is there a way of casting a replica earring from one you already have. It is sterling silver, quite small but has a lot of detail and in the shape of a dolphin. It is a sentimental earring but cannot be worn as the other one has been lost. I know that cuttlefish casting will not work but I don't know what material or process I can use. Please help me x

you can make maybe a RTV mould of the earring you have then have it lost wax cast it I would make 2 new earings to avoid shrinkage and them end up been odd sizes

Most casting houses will make a RTV mould for around £50. That should include vat and a single casting in silver.
Might be worth thinking about if you're not going to need the materials again?

Thanks for that. What exactly is an RTV mould? Is there anywhere I can see how the process works? Is it possible to teach myself how to do this? X
