    Drill driver is also reversible - screw / unscrew.

    Aeronautical application ... 'fair do'. A pair of molegrips always did the trick when fencing.

    I've done this a few times by twisting square wire really tight, put one end in the vice & hold the other end with parallel pliers and keep twisting!

    I use my $5 found at garage sale cordless drill to twist wire. I can set the speed, or reverse it. Super simple!

    you need a drill with a keyed or keyless chuck, the snap-on ones don't work, (Like my Dewalt) they won't hold the wire.

    Ended up doing it by hand with a vice and a pair of pliers, didn't take very long actually
