    Default Turning a Hobby into business - How to work out costs?

    I have been making jewellery while I studied in a course and have sold some items.
    I now want to take it to another level but I have absolutely no idea where to start!
    I deal with silver jewellery and a few beaded pieces.
    I don't know how to work out materials, fees, listings etc etc
    I've Bought so many materials in the past that I never worked out costs of making and took random guessed.

    I've never thought about becoming a business until now and to be honest, never really pushed my pieces so with a bit of effort, I know I could do better.
    I mostly sell via etsy but now considering craft fairs in the lead up to Xmas.

    I would like to do this properly and sort out tax so I don't get a surprise letter one day claiming tax on my massive £108 worth of sales over the past year 😂
