    Default Bench Polisher Mops

    Hi,

I usually polish my pieces with a pendant motor. I have recently bought a bench grinder/polisher, can anyone reccomend what wheels I will need? It takes wheels up to 6". I use Blue Luxi, White Luxi and Orange Luxi to polish. The wheels I use on my pendant motor are 3 layer felt wheels and cotton wheels, but I have no idea what wheels I will need for the bench polisher.

    Thanks,
    Hannah

For the first polish have a go at these 3 inch diam. bristle mops, I use these with Tripoli ; http://www.cooksongold.com/Jewellery...prcode-999-CAH
For finish polishing I use these 4 inch diam. Swansdown mops with Rouge; http://www.bettsmetalsales.com/p-4x1-Swan-Mop ,Cookson only stock a small version of these; http://www.cooksongold.com/Jewellery...prcode-999-AFZ

You can get swansdown mops in all the sizes here.
A 4x1 will cost you £4.08 incl. VAT.

I get what James buys although I use a slightly different bristle, the one with the metal middle.
I usually buy from Cookies but that seems a good price, thanks Mark!

I've ordered things from them several times, Caroline. I've not been disappointed with the quality.
