Great looking little ring, and its lovely that it has a personal sentimental element to it too. I like it!

Nice idea to recycle the gold that way. Presumably the planished one is silver?

Yes the planished ring is silver with the 9ct band held in with doming the sides of the silver ring. Takes a bit of getting used to and might change it to a flat ring with the gold as a band in the silver?
