    Default Beading wire

I've been asked by my cousin to reproduce a necklace for her. It's one of those things with components spaced around a wire. I really want to make something lovely but I'm struggling to find the right wire. I thought I'd got the right thing from Kernowcraft https://www.kernowcraft.com/products...let-wire-ls233 but it's a bit too flimsy for what I want. The original necklace is on a nylon coated cable wire and ideally that's what I would like to buy. My question is, does anyone know of anything that's fairly sturdy but small enough for me to be able to slip some beads and other components on.

These might be what you're thinking of Carole:

I've used them a lot over the years, and they last forever. I do sometimes change the fittings by adding a crimped end cap and regular clasp rather than the steel barrel, which I'm never completely happy with.

They do indeed look good George. Thanks for the input. I've spent most of the afternoon enamelling some pieces to go on it but every one has been a failure so far. TBH, I'm about ready to throw the towel in.
