Default 9ct gold safety ear wires

Has anyone made this design of ear wire in gold?
Cookies are out of stock and I was wondering if it is best to use half hard 0.70mm
    Thanks

Not sure about gold - I expect others can advise better - but I do make this style in silver, generally 0.7mm. One nice thing about working with Argentium is that you can make them with soft or half hard wire, then precipitation harden in the kiln. They need to be hard and springy when finished, otherwise they don't spring back to hold on the catch.

Not in a long time. Have you tried Palmer Metals? http://www.palmermetals.co.uk/shop/c...fety-wire.html

I'd use the half hard as you've suggested Theresa
