    Caroline, most helpful many thanks. I really like the little pinpoint burner for small jobs like jump rings, ear posts etc. it is really fine - take yours out of the box and try it! What have you got to lose

    It's been in its box for the same length of time! I bought one of the wee torches from Cookson that I sometimes use otherwise I just blast things as usual I'm basically quite lazy I think so if I don't have to change a burner...........
