Soldering Argentium

Hello folks!

I'm contemplating starting work with argentium silver, and wondering what are your experiences/views on it? Also, I'm a bit lost as to what solder can be used with it....is it better just to fuse?

You can use normal solders, although they'll tarnish over time. Argentium solder will tarnish as little as the Argentium, but it doesn't flow very well.

I've had mixed results with argentium solder, and combined with the collapsing metal problem, tend not to do a lot of fabrication with it - other than pieces that can be fused.
