    Default Recent bangles

Seeing Liz's thread on a mobius bangle reminded me that I haven't posted recently on what other bangles I have been working on, so here they are. Nothing spectacular, but I like them.

The last of the three photos has my latest bangle on it to the left of the continuous round wire bangle - twisted textured square silver wire with soldered 9ct gold ball detail. Of all the bangles I have made this one is very special to me as the gold was reclaimed from a broken albert chain which belonged to my grandfather and also the first time I have worked in gold.

Love those bangles Susie, but my fave is the middle one, with the one on the left a close 2nd!

    Thanks for such nice comments.

The flat bangle comes in at just under 29g, made for my wrist so it's quite small.

I've also done a 5 wrap continuous round wire but think I prefer the 3. Soldering them is a bit challenging though but very satisfying when it goes right!

They all look lovely, I would choose the continuous one with the bead..anything to fiddle with. Did you solder those gold balls on individually? or bind them somehow and solder all at once?
