Thanks Lydia, you inspired me or OH to paint, rejig the benches and buy a stand for the rolling mill with storage. I even have floor space now

Ooh I like Caroline! I really *must* get a proper grown-up's torch and bench polisher! Must be the only jewellery maker with a fear of fire.

Wallace, I'll stick up some more pics tomorrow. I wish I could show how even if it is boiling outside, it is miraculously sub-zero within! People come in to cool off! :-)

Well I couldn't cope with some of the torches being spoken about recently Lydia, as long as I can just turn it on and it does the job that's ok, if I have to fiddle with oxygen and propane then that's a different matter. And if I try using the biggest burner I have then the noise and the flame scare the bejesus out of me!!

The studio looks amazing Lydia! Yours too Caroline.

I'm hoping I get to do my home workspace (which is just the tiny bedroom in our housewreck) at the end of this year. This is the first time I've lived anywhere I can put shelves up and stuff on the walls, so I'm excitedly planning...

Lydia, what did you use to hang the hammers on the wall?

Mine is tiny hence the need to take 4 photos, one from outside! It's about 6.5 ft x 8 ft. Lots of wall cupboards and drawers and the need to get the layout right. We got a cabin for mutli use but it's too nice and tranquil a space to be a workshop so I have a new bench sitting out there and I've revamped my workshop in the house :/ never pleased, that's what workshop envy does
