    Default Hallmark excitement

Today I registered for a hallmark, I am so excited! Me, making pieces that will bear a hallmark! Hard to take in! Chose a little shield shape, with my two initials, JG. Registered at Birmingham. I need to think now about the first piece I shall make to bear it. Something for my mum, I think.

What did you make that carried your first hallmark?

I really am Vos, I just hope I can do it justice!

It does feel so good Lydia, I found something I think I can do well and absolutely love, and this kind of validates it!

Anyone have photos of their first hallmarked piece?

Mine was my collar, part of a large batch of stuff I got hallmarked. Oddly I have no photos of me wearing it.

The next big thing to bear my hallmark was my back in the form of a tattoo. Not sure if that counts.

Oooh, Medusa, you may have just solved my tattoo dilemma! I got my first one in June last year (the painting I use as my avatar) and I want another...perfect!

Julie I forgot to ask how long the process took? I have a feeling I may be needing one sooner rather than later <eek>

Congratulations Julie!! I remember getting mine and it really is so thrilling, funnily enough though, I cannot specifically remember my first piece, I am pretty sure that I sent a number of pieces to make the cost more economical!! Mine is also JG at Birmingham, different shape.....obviously
