    Default Bridesmaid's choker

Thought I'd post this, I think it's my transition piece from pure beader to silversmith. There are two hammered sterling silver links that join the front piece to the necklace, and I 'stole' them from a bunch of links I've been making for a sample silver chain for myself to wear. The beads are all Swarovski, bicones and Chaton montees, woven on Beadalon 19 strand .46 gauge wire.

The wedding is tomorrow, so it will be seen in public for the first time. Click image for larger version.

That looks splendid, Julie. It'll be very satisfying seeing it worn on such a special occasion, and you'll be getting some compliments, I'm sure.

Thanks Wallace, I am relieved the colours worked, I had only photos of the dress to work from as we live 300 miles apart.

Sorry for not replying earlier. Truth be told, the first photos perplexed me. I understand it much better now it can be seen in context. Its a lovely piece! What is the central disc - is that silver too?
